Canoe building at Orc Adventures, Keswick

Orc Adventures run four day workshops (they can arrange for 3 day workshops also) building a 15' long 'lakelander' canoe, their own design. Their skilled team can teach complete novices how to build their canoe, and yo can take your finished product home at the end of the workshop. Wood turning courses at Harold Harrison Turning School

At Harold Harrison Turning School you will learn the wonderful art of wood turning. Courses can be arranged for varying lengths from one to three days, which do not have to run consecutively. Tuition is usually one to one, though can be arranged for two people. Have a look at their site to see the intresting course they offer.
