Lake District Bed And Breakfast
Banks Farm, Boutique Accommodation
Daffodil and Daisy are part of Banks Farm a former 17th century lake district hill farm. A small holding of five acres we have free range hens, geese, oxford sandy and black pigs, hebridean sheep from which a lot of our food is supplied including bacon and sausage for breakfast. We also grow a selection of food and vegetables and are experimenting all the time!
An eco friendly wood fired hot tub is available for all our guests to use, this requires many hours heating time but is worth the wait.
The views from here are fantastic, with hillwalking and cycling to be enjoyed from the door within the Lake District National Park. We are on a public footpath and the coast to coast runs by the bottom of the rustic private lane.
The UK's first community owned pub with some of the best lake district beers and food in Cumbria, the Old Crown is nearby in Hesket New Market.
